Encounter the Latest Autonomous Case-Handling Robotic HaiPick System at MODEX 2020
With the live demonstration of the Autonomous Case-Handling Robotic HaiPick system and solutions at MODEX 2020, Hai Robotics explains how to provide clients with warehouse automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce cost, through robotic technologies.
Hai Robotics, as the pioneer in the autonomous case-handling robotic system (ACR system), will showcase its brand new HaiPick system (known as KUBO before) and solutions at MODEX 2020, the leading trade show for supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution industries, 9-12 March 2020, held in Atlanta, USA.
With the live demonstration of HaiPick at Booth #1624, MODEX 2020, Hai Robotics explains how to provide clients with warehouse automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce cost, through robotic technologies.
Autonomous Case-Handling Robotic System HaiPick
By introducing the autonomous case-handling robotic system (ACR system) HaiPick, Hai Robotics brings the brand-new concept of robotics into warehouse automation. This innovative system with automated transportation, retrieval, storage, and sortation, provides a “case-to-person” solution in warehousing, taking warehouse automation to a new level.
Compared with other AGVs in the market, HaiPick provides the exact goods demanded by orders in a more precise way to boost working efficiency. From 2015 till now, the HaiPick system has been upgraded to the 4th generation (HaiPick A42) from that with an ever-expanding customer portfolio.
HaiPick System consists of HaiPick robots, multifunctional workstations, intelligent charging stations, storage units, and the HaiQ software platform. Based on the schedule of HaiQ, HaiPick robots can pick the exact goods demanded by orders in the unit of cases to workstations. ±3mm control precision, maximum 8-case carrying capacity, 1.8m/s travel speed, and intelligent charging … those features of HaiPick robots keep warehouses running in a flexible and efficient way.
Compared with the traditional picking process, the HaiPick system eliminates the walking and searching time for workers, increasing their working efficiency by 3-4 times. Its supporting standard 4-meter shelving optimizes the warehouse storage capacity by up to 180%.
Super Brain HaiQ
HaiQ is the intelligent brain of the Hai Robotics smart warehouse system. It connects with clients’ business management systems and supports daily operations and data analytics, providing visualization management. Based on reinforcement learning and deep learning, HaiQ ensures optimized scheduling of max. 600 robots and other equipment while monitoring the system in pre-alert malfunction.
In practice, workers can monitor their tasks and the condition of HaiPick robots through dashboards shown on workstations. From the perspective of managers, HaiQ supports visualization management at the control tower including tracking, end-to-end visibility, and control data analytics.
Optimized Operation Processes
HaiPick system will display two interactive methods to optimize operational processes at MODEX 2020. Manual workstations are provided to interact with workers in warehouses to transform the traditional person-to-goods mode into goods to person mode. Workers can easily put totes/bins into the trays of HaiPick robots and let robots do the rest of the work to finish the inbound process. In the outbound process, HaiPick robots will retrieve the exact goods and shift them to manual workstations where workers can pick and sort items to the put-to-light system. This interactive method is widely used in Intelligent goods to person Solutions, reducing the workers’ workload and increasing their working efficiency to its full capacity.
HaiPick system can interact with various warehouse equipment, and the conveyor system is one of them. Conveyor workstations are toiled to manufacturing cases and have been implemented in the Smart In-plant Logistics Solution. HaiPick robots can auto-pick and put totes/bins from the conveyor system according to HaiQ’s orders. This method provides a buffer between workers and robots and reduces the waiting time for both sides in the picking process. It also can realize flexible operation processes while breaking the boundary of storehouse and production lines.
Multi-tier Steel Platform Solution
Based on HaiPick System, Hai Robotics offers the Multi-tier Steel Platform Solution for high-rise warehouses and factories. This solution uses the steel platform to build multi-layer structures. Goods can be handled by HaiPick robots and hoisters. Therefore, warehouse space can be utilized to its full capacity.
At MODEX2020, HaiPick will demonstrate the live show on a steel platform to show its stability. This solution can increase the storage density with a low construction cost and short ROI.
