In only two weeks, HaiPick-based automation was implemented within the medicine warehouse of the hospital. Warehouse automation helps hospitals release staff to perform core duties. This benefit turned especially important during the epidemic outbreak that started only one month after the implementation.
Smart Hospital Equipped with HaiPick System
Today, this Chinese hospital is running a tailored Hai Robotics solution based on custom HaiPick robots which are only 2.8m tall. While shorter than regular HaiPick robots, these robots still provide the usual speed, capacity efficiency, and stability which is crucial for warehouses.
By connecting directly with the hospital's SPD system, robots handle and sort the required medical supplies automatically and efficiently. This system integration further enables medical supplies traceability and enhanced safety, limiting errors in picking and storing.
Looking forward, it has been demonstrated that HaiPick robots can also interact with other smart hospital equipment, such as robotic arms, roller conveyors, medicine dispensers, medicine delivery machines, etc., to realize even higher levels of automation.
