Hai Robotics Expands Footprint in the U.S. Moving Electronic Replacement Products
Hai Robotics’ impact and support of the North American warehousing industry continues to grow with a new site slated to go-live in Dallas, Texas, by the end of July 2023.
A popular international electronics company and integrator has selected Hai Robotics and the ideal automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) to advance their new facility in Texas.
After evaluating many automation providers, Hai Robotics was identified as the best solution to automatically manage the inventory and workflows of spare parts, in part due to several key advantages Hai provides: vertical storage capabilities, storage density, proven system efficiency, and system material.
The solution will be operated by several advanced telescoping Autonomous Case-handling Robots (ACR). These compact, tall robots independently navigate the dense storage system and extend upward, allowing the system to maximize use of the available vertical storage space in the facility at 28 feet high. This significantly reduces the storage footprint previously needed to store many thousands of spare parts.
The telescoping ACRs that were implemented are designed for real-world ASRS applications and are intelligent enough to work within solutions created with almost any industry standard racking. This typically saves on overall system costs while offering a high degree of system flexibility. The system can be adapted to maintain maximum efficiency if a change in workflows or expansions are ever needed, assuring long-term operational success for this facility’s spare parts management.
After implementation of Hai Robotics’ system, the facility will see a streamlining of what was once a laborious task. With the automated storage and management of so many small parts, there will be remarkable improvements in inventory management.
