Hai Robotics Obtains European CE Mark for Its HaiPick ACR Series
Hai Robotics obtained the CE Mark Certificate for its HaiPick ACR robot series issued by the TÜV Rheinland Greater China. It proves the excellent safety, health, and environmental protection performance of HaiPick ACR robots and marks a new stage in the company's global expansion and development.
On May 28, 2021, Hai Robotics, the autonomous case-handling robotic (ACR) system pioneer and provider of warehouse automation solutions with advanced robotics systems, obtained the EN ISO 3691-4:2020 Machinery Directive Certificate for its HaiPick ACR robot series (HaiPick A42/A42D/A42N) issued by the technical testing organization TÜV Rheinland Greater China (hereinafter referred to as “TÜV Rheinland).
European CE Mark For HaiPick ACR
The CE Mark is a technical standard, denoted by the symbol “CE”. The CE Mark is regarded as the “passport” for manufacturers to enter the European market. It proves the excellent safety, health, and environmental protection performance of HaiPick ACR robots and marks a new stage in the company's global expansion and development.
Safety That Empowers Smart Logistics
Fang Bing, Co-founder, and COO of Hai Robotics said: "HaiPick ACR robots have complied with EN ISO 3691-4:2020 standards from the design stage, and take essential safety and reliability characteristics as basic requirements. Through reasonable software and hardware design, HaiPick ACR robots demonstrate their superior and reliable performance in compliance with EU standards."
The robots are equipped with mature and reliable security devices such as safety PLC, double laser scanner, and safe touch edges, which meet the requirements of stable, efficient, safe, and reliable intelligent storage. The robots can dynamically adjust personnel protection strategies according to different operating areas to achieve a perfect balance between safety and efficiency. In addition, the complimentary equipment such as automatic charging stations has also obtained the CE Mark.
From the previous EN 1525-1997 to the latest ISO-3691-4:2020, HAI ROBOTICS' product safety strategy adapts to the latest safety standards to maintain the highest safety requirements. At the same time, it comprehensively considers customer security needs and real business processes. It schedules different security levels to maintain system security and performance stability while maximizing customer benefits.
Leader in Autonomous Case-handling Robotic (ACR) System
The increasing demand for automation transformation in the logistics industry has become an inevitable trend in the whole manufacturing chain from material stocking warehouses, production lines, sidelines, semi-finished product warehouses, and finished product warehouses. In the past, multishuttle, storage/retrieval machines, and Autostore solutions became a trend. However, such solutions cannot fully adapt in some scenarios.
In response to this, Hai Robotics innovatively combined the advantages of mobile robots and stereoscopic warehouses and launched the first autonomous case-handling robotic (ACR) system in the industry. The system offers high compatibility, high storage capacity, fast ROI, a high level of automation, high flexibility, high reliability, and many other advantages. It can form a set of "combined advantages" through docking with various storage equipment, creating a "one plus one is greater than two" effect, filling the gaps in the industry, and solving customers' pain points.
In 2020, Hai Robotics launched its series of autonomous case-handling robots, including HaiPick A42 (Multi-layer ACR), HaiPick A42D (Double-deep ACR), HaiPick A42N (Carton-picking ACR), HaiPick A42T (Telescopic Lift ACR), HaiPick A42 SLAM (Laser SLAM ACR), providing comprehensive and customized solutions for customers in different scenarios.
As of May this year, Hai Robotics has implemented over 200 projects worldwide, covering 3PL, apparel, footwear, e-commerce, electronics, 3C manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, and other industries. Using the HaiPick system, customers can realize warehouse automation transformation within a week, increase storage density by 80%-130%, and increase labor efficiency 3-4 times.
In the future, Hai Robotics will deepen its R&D capabilities to create more efficient, safe, and stable robotic systems and solutions; while having a customer-first approach to achieve win-win cooperation, and working with global partners to develop a full range of intelligent warehousing solutions for customers.
