Hai Robotics and SAP Cooperate in Standard Robotics Interface Solution

Hai Robotics ("Hai"), a global pioneer in ACR (Autonomous Case-handling Robots), is collaborating with SAP, Germany-based software and tech company, to strengthen its warehouse automation solutions for clients worldwide. This cooperation will integrate SAP with Hai Robotics to offer clients an industry-leading solution that helps build competitive advantages.

Hai and SAP have co-developed a standard robotics interface called SAP Warehouse Robotics to connect robots with SAP systems. This interface establishes a seamless connection between robot software and SAP S/4 HANA eWM or WM module, enabling functionalities such as outbound / inbound / relocation task issuing, task cancellation and robot monitoring.

Hai is the only one among the three robot suppliers that has conducted hardware integration test on-site together with SAP. The global interface development is currently at Release 3, and continues to evolve with new features. This interface saves time and cost that customers may incur if developing from scratch, allowing them to focus on key activities and ensure that projects go-live on-time. Since February 2023, Hai and SAP have collaborated closely on product development and innovation. Looking ahead, both parties also discussed the feasibility of co-develop manufacturing and distribution industry solutions to strengthen the collaborative relationship.
