Hai Robotics to Showcase Latest Innovations at CeMat Australia, As It Hits One-year Milestone in the Region
Hai Robotics will showcase a range of state-of-the-art innovations of its automation technology at the upcoming CeMat Australia.
Hai Robotics, the pioneer in Autonomous Case-handling Robot (ACR) systems for warehouse logistics, will showcase a range of state-of-the-art innovations of its automation technology at the upcoming CeMat Australia, from July 19 to 21 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center.
CeMat Australia 2022
Exhibiting at Booth F12, the company will offer visitors a glimpse of HaiPick A42T, the tallest robot in Hai Robotics' ACR systems. Featuring a telescopic lift, the highly-flexible robot can reach a max picking height of 10 meters, and descend to as low as 0.28 meters to pick totes and cartons stored on the bottom shelf. The innovative solution of HaiPick A42T was recognized as the "Best in Intralogistics" in IFOY 2021.
Hai Robotics will also display a larger version of its standard HaiPick A42 robot that makes it possible to pick both totes and cartons without DM codes up to a size of 670mm in length and 500mm in width. HaiPort, a goods to person workstation that maximizes the throughput capacity at a warehouse, will also be displayed at the exhibition.
Hai Robotics is spotlighting its autonomous robot technology at CeMat Australia in keeping with global trends in a post-pandemic age, where demand for cost-efficient logistics solutions has been growing to meet the rapid expansion of eCommerce.
Australia, the 11th largest eCommerce market in the world, has witnessed a surge in the industry as the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated the shift from shopping offline to online. The market, estimated at A$60.6bn (US$46.7bn) in 2021, is expected to reach A$91.5bn (US$70bn) in 2025, according to GlobalData.
July also marks the one-year milestone for Hai Robotics’ arrival in the Australian market, where the company made its first deployment in 2021 at the warehouses of one of Australia's biggest online bookstore.
Through a partnership with BPS Global Australia, robots were deployed at the client's 14,000-sqm distribution center in Lidcombe, New South Wales. Hai Robotics’ ACR systems have significantly boosted their handling capacity and improved its workplace safety by reducing manual lifting.
By implementing ACR solutions, the company has increased its shipping capacity to 60,000 books per day, improved putaway rates by 800%, and enhanced storage density by 130%.
Hai Robotics will continue improving its products and services and is committed to beefing up its local service. Together with local partners, the company can further understand customers' needs and provide them with end-to-end industry solutions that deliver value.
