Spare Parts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all spare parts and components.

  • Monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment of spare parts.

  • Optimize inventory levels to reduce excess stock while minimizing the risk of shortages.

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of spare parts.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, particularly in China.

  • Evaluate supplier performance and quality to ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and retrieval of spare parts.

  • Implement best practices in warehouse management to improve productivity and safety.

  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse inventory and processes.

  • Ensure the demo unit is operational and properly maintained for customer visits.

  • Coordinate with technical teams to address any issues or malfunctions in the demo unit.

  • Prepare the demo unit for demonstrations, ensuring it showcases the full capabilities of Hai Robotics’ solutions.

  • Coordinate the distribution and delivery of spare parts to customers and internal teams.

  • Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Customer Service:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to spare parts availability and delivery.

  • Work closely with the sales and service teams to meet customer needs and expectations.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze spare parts usage trends and forecast future demand.

  • Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and supplier performance.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse and logistics staff.

  • Provide training and development to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all aspects of spare parts and warehouse management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in spare parts management, warehouse management, or logistics, preferably in the robotics or automation industry.

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics practices.

  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in team leadership and staff development is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with robotic systems or automated warehouses.

  • Familiarity with the Atlanta logistics landscape.
