ERAL
Central Warehouse Elevation

To tackle these challenges head-on, Eral strategically partnered with Hengyan and Hai Robotics to introduce the HaiPick System 3, a game-changing solution within their 2900㎡ warehouse. This innovative system, designed to operate under a 9-meter-high ceiling, maximizes vertical space by reaching a storage height of 8.7 meters. It employs chain-linked totes that efficiently eliminate gaps between totes and incorporates overhead racking above 5.4 meters, maximizing the space utilization to an impressive 29 totes per square meter.
Equipped with 36 Autonomous Case-handling Mobile Robots (ACRs) and 96 AMRs, the new system achieves an impressive throughput of 3500 pieces per hour, efficiently meeting the demands of Eral's extensive retail network and e-commerce shipments.
Enhanced Storage Density
Eral has achieved a significant leap in storage capacity with a 150% increase over their previous facility, accommodating more than 5,000 SKUs efficiently. The implementation of overhead racking has unlocked additional storage locations, allowing for more inventory to be stored within the same footprint.
Timely Delivery
The new system has transformed Eral's central warehouse, enabling ultra-high daily throughput of tens of thousands of items. This optimization supports its omnichannel business model and guarantees timely deliveries across all distribution channels, swiftly fulfilling the demands of its extensive network of over 2000 stores and e-commerce platforms.
Reduced Operational Costs
By minimizing the distance that operators need to travel, Eral has achieved a 30% reduction in labor costs. This reduction not only streamlines operations but also contributes to lower overall operational expenses, making Eral's supply chain more competitive and cost-effective.
Improved Picking Efficiency
Eral has optimized its operational workflow by integrating HaiQ, a sophisticated smart warehouse management platform. With HaiQ, totes that are not fully filled will be taken to the buffer area for the consolidation of similar items, optimizing space utilization of totes, and minimizing AMR trips for gathering similar items, thereby enhancing picking and outbound efficiency.
