To optimize order picking and fulfillment operations at a new 450,000-square-foot facility in Kansas City, Missouri, the rapidly expanding company — fueled by booming revenue and over 400 stores — embraced advanced goods-to-person automation. The solution was to integrate the HaiPick Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS).
Boot Barn's HaiPick System, featuring 34-foot high, fully automated storage, doubles the storage density compared to the company's California distribution center. With an impressive throughput of 460 totes per hour and 100% picking accuracy, this system is now a cornerstone of operations in Kansas City.
Its adaptability has been crucial for Boot Barn’s aggressive growth strategy. In just one year, Hai Robotics has facilitated three expansions to accommodate this rapid growth.
