With hundreds of online sellers under its roof, Win.IT America’s Los Angeles-based fulfillment center needed a solution that maximized efficiency and space utilization. The 3PL’s tailored HaiPick System 3 delivers — fitting over 50,000 inventory bins into a 17,000-square-foot storage zone that reaches 32+ feet high, achieving an impressive storage density of more than 32 totes per square meter.
Faster, Accurate Order Fulfillment
Speed and accuracy were also critical needs, as Win.IT guarantees same-day shipping on 95% of orders. With HaiPick System 3, operators can pick nearly 300 totes per hour per workstation. When all four of Win.IT’s picking stations are in use, throughput can reach over 1,100 totes per hour with 99%+ order picking accuracy. The ergonomic, easy-to-use workstations enable a near-instantaneous exchange time of just 2-3 seconds between bins, ensuring smooth and continuous order processing.
How It Works: A Dual-Robot System
HaiPick System 3 uses two robotic technologies to achieve maximum storage density, throughput, and efficiency. Autonomous Case-handling Mobile Robots (ACRs) pick totes from shelves up to 39+ feet (12 meters) high, passing them to ground-level Fast-Transit Companion AMRs. These high-speed robots then transport totes to human-operator workstations, enabling near-instantaneous processing for priority orders and fast-moving SKUs.
